After being listed as missing for a week, 31-year-old Napaskiak resident Joshua Evan has been located according to Monday's trooper dispatch.

A search for Evan was initiated after Evan was last seen on the ice on the Kuskokwim River near Sunshine Slough during breakup. He had told persons then that he would be going to the Tuntutuliak fish camps. That was where he was located this week alive and well.

Boats and aircraft took part in the search throughout the week, working around flows moving through the river.
