While the 4.7 magnitude earthquake centered 55 miles west northwest of Clam Gulch may have woke up many in the south-central region early this morning at 3:44 am, no watch, no warning, and no advisory was issued by the Tsunami Center.
The quake is reported to have occurred at a depth of 81 miles beneath the western shores of Cook Inlet.
There were no reports of damage or injuries for this quake.
