On Monday morning at 10:50 am, 49-year-old Timothy Kimmel was arrested in Kodiak after he turned himself in to the Kodiak City Jail. He was wanted on an arrest warrant for Theft II.

Kimmel was wanted, along with Walter Thane Erickson, for the theft of 2,219 pounds of brass and copper that was stolen from a Kodiak Recycling Center last month. The value of the metals was estimated at $5,744.60.
An Alaska State Trooper investigation that took place on March 24th, resulted in an indictment being handed down by a Kodiak Grand Jury on April 25th. The indictment was for multiple counts of Theft II.
Walter T Erickson was arrested at his residence on April 27th after being located there.
Bail was set for each at $5,000 cash and a Court-Approved Third Party Custodian.
