After stopping the vehicle, troopers identified 25-year-old Liunda Gilliam of Soldotna. A records check on Gilliam would find that she had an outstanding felony warrant for Failure to Appear at Arraignment on charges of Vehicle Theft I at the end of January. It was also discovered that Gilliam was driving with her license revoked and was also required to have an Ignition Interlock device on any vehicle she was driving.
Gilliam was arrested on those charges and as she was being arrested, she was found to be in the possession of Methamphetamine. She was additionally charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV.
Troopers transported Gilliam to Anchorage where she was remanded to the Anchorage Jail.
Gilliam’s bail was set at $5,750.
