While on Williwaw Way near Bogard Road in Wasilla, Alaska State Troopers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol saw a suspicious man attempting to hide in the bushes.
In an attempt to uncover the circumstances of the man’s behavior, troopers approached and contacted the man. The man promptly lied to troopers about his identity. But, troopers were later able to identify the man as 34-year-old Wasilla resident Shaun Gould.
An investigation of Gould would find that he had two warrants issued for his arrest. The first of the two warrants was a No Bail warrant for a parole violation. The second warrant was for $10,000 and a Court Approved Third Party Custodian for Theft II.
Troopers arrested Gould for the warrants as well as an additional charge of Providing False Information.
Gould was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded and held without bail.
