A Talkeetna woman was arrested while pulling out of the Palmer post Alaska State Troopers parking lot at 4:35 pm on Tuesday for failing to stop before entering the highway from a non-roadway and for not signalling a turn when pulling out.
After the Bureau of Highway Patrol pulled the woman’s BMW over, they would find that 43-year-old Talkeetna resident Adrienne L. Schenfele had in her possession a firearm, $14,954 in cash, approximately 9.5 pounds of THC-laden marijuana brownies, cookies, hashish oil, and hashish gel capsules.

The Bureau of Highway Patrol would find that Schenfele was out of jail on bail for Felony drug charges and was in violation of her conditions of release.
It was on April 4th that Schenfele had been initially arrested after being pulled over for a moving violation on the Parks Highway by a Bureau of Highway Patrol trooper. During that stop it would be found that Schenfele was in possession of 11 ounces of marijuana and a quantity of hashish oil.
That highway stop prompted troopers to apply for and obtain search warrants for her homes in Talkeetna and Anchorage. Searches of the homes would find 36 plants with a dry weight of seven pounds and approximately $20,000 worth of grow equipment, a hashish processing operation and approximately one-half gallon of hashish oil. In Schenfele’s Talkeetna residence 51 plants with a dry weight of nine pounds. Both operations were dismantled.
For the initial offenses, Schenfele was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial on $2,500 bail and a Court Approved Third Party Custodian.
On Tuesday, Schenfele was charged with Misconduct involving a Controlled Substance III, Misconduct involving a Controlled Substance IV x2,Misconduct involving a Weapon II and Violation of the Conditions of Release.
Schenfele was transported and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial with her bail set at $2,500 and must remain in jail until the court approves a Third Party Custodian.
There is no word as to why she was in the Alaska State Trooper parking lot.
