A controlled delivery of a mail parcel containing drugs was carried out by the South Central Area-wide Narcotics Unit and the Anchorage Western Alaska Alcohol and Narcotics Team in Sterling on Tuesday afternoon.
WAANT and SCAN Units went to a residence off of Dutch Landing Loop in Sterling after investigators found 47 grams of methamphetamine in a package sent to that address.
When the suspects opened the package, investigators closed in with a search warrent on the residence. They would find three people, 40-year-old David Quayle, 35-year-old Lesha A. Lindley, and 33-year-old Rosann M. Garcia at the residence. All three are residents of Anchorage.
Also in the house was a variety of drug paraphenalia. Drug packaging material, a scale, and meth pipes as well as additional methamphetamine was found as a result of a search of the house. Also found, were two concealable firearms.
All three of the suspects were arrested and transported by Soldotna State Troopers to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility where they were remanded without bail until arraignment.
