Three Arrested in Wasilla Traffic Stop

On Saturday evening, a Wasilla Traffic Stop would yield trooper arrests on a plethora of charges.

It was at 4:12 pm that troopers pulled over a 1994 Geo Prism for equipment violations. After the troopers stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver, the driver, later identified as 23-year-old Charles Hood, would  give troopers a false name.

Once correctly identified, it was found that Hood had an active Felony Warrant for his arrest for $5,000 and was on Felony Probation. Troopers arrested Hood for Driving with a Revoked License, False Information, Probation Violations and the Felony Warrant.

A passenger in the vehicle, Jobie Karr, had hindered the investigation and so was arrested as well.

A second passenger in the vehicle, 25-year-old Aleesa McNab of Wasilla was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and several other controlled substances. She was subsequently arrested on charges of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV and V.

All three occupants of the vehicle were transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer where they were remanded into custody of the facility.
