On Wednesday July 25th, a report was issued to the Alaska State troopers reporting a robbery on the Kenai Peninsula.
Two men called into the troopers to report that they had been robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Clam Shell Lodge in Clam Gulch.
They followed the suspect vehicle along the Sterling Highway, and as it turned on to K Beach Road.

They continued to follow the vehicle until it stopped at about mile 14 of K Beach Road.
At that time, the driver of the vehicle, got out, and fired two shots at them before continuing toward Kenai.
The two victims continued to give chase, while calling to report the robbery and the gunshots.
A short time later, the two victims lost site of the vehicle but were able to give a good description to the troopers.
A short time later, with the vehicle description, authorities were able to locate the suspects and their vehicle. The officers then conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at mile four of the Kenai Spur Highway near Soldotna.
All of the occupants of the vehicle were arrested. Arrested were 36-year-old Paul Larson of Wasilla, 30-year-old Jill Abear of Anchor Point, and 21-year-old Dessie Ozhuwan of Kenai.
The three were charged with Robbery I, Theft II, and Attempted Murder.
All three were remanded to Wildwood Pretrial.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
