Alaska State Troopers arrested a Togiak man after two separate incidences in that community last week.
At 4 pm on Wednesday of last week, troopers received a report out of Togiak that a resident there, identified as 19-year-old Anthony Forbes, had assaulted a family member twice in one day.
According to the trooper dispatch, troopers arrived in Togiak to find that Forbes had attacked a family member with a metal pipe, hitting that person in the head at least once and multiple times about the body at approximately 1:30 am that morning.
The trooper investigation would reveal that Forbes again confronted that same family member at approximately 3:15 pm that same day, and proceeded to punch that person at least three times in the face.
Following the trooper investigation, Forbes was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence Assault III and IV. Forbes was transported to Dillingham where he was remanded to the Dillingham Correctional Center.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
