On Monday evening, the Togiak VPSO in Togiak responded to a disturbance call at a residence in the village at 8:15 pm.

When he arrived at the scene, he found the victims, two women, one of which was pregnant, still there. But it was found that the suspect, 24-year-old Togiak resident Justin M. Forbes, had fled the scene prior to his arrival.

The two women told the VPSO that Forbes phsically had assaulted the both of them a short time earlier then left when the violence was reported.

VPSO would find Forbes at another residence in the community. When found, it was discovered that Forbes was also under the influence of alcohol, which is counter to the conditions of his Felony probation for a prior charge of Assault.

Forbes was arrested, and charged with two counts of Assault IV and Felony Probation Violation. He was taken to the Togiak Holding Facility and later transported to Dillingham and remanded to the facility there.
