Alaska State Troopers received a report of a violation of a Stalking order by a Grayling man on Monday afternoon. The caller reported that 23-year-old Douglas Aaron Deacon had violated the order on the previous Thursday.

The 17-year-old reported that Deacon had chased her down the road and into her home.  When the teen tried to call a relative for help. it was reported that Deacon took the phone from her and broke it.

AST traveled to the community on Tuesday, investigated further and contacted Deacon. Subsequent to contact, Deacon was arrested for Burglary I, Violation of Conditions of Release, Violating a Stalking Order, Criminal Mischief IV, and Assault IV-DV.

Deacon was transported to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Correctional Center in Bethel, where he was remanded on the charges.
