Troopers Arrest Wasilla Man after Stabbing Incident on Point Mackenzie Road Early Friday

stabbing incidentTroopers investigated a stabbing at Point Mackenzie Road early Friday morning that resulted in one man being arrested on weapons and assault charges the trooper dispatch revealed today.

Wasilla-based troopers received a report of a stabbing from an individual at mile 16 of Point Mackenzie Road at 3:47 am on Friday morning and responded to the scene to investigate.

The person making the report told troopers that 27-year-old Joseph Larocque of Wasilla stabbed the victim, identified by troopers as 39-year-old Palmer resident Nathan M. Buck.

According to the trooper investigation, Buck was stabbed by Larocque after Buck took a firearm away from an intoxicated Larocque.

Buck was treated for his injuries at the scene and released. Larocque was placed under arrest and charged with Assault II and Misconduct Involving Weapons IV. He was transported to Palmer and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with his bail set at $5,000.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
