Troopers Continue to Search for Former Bethel Police Officer Wanted on Attempted Sexual Assault Charges

Alaska State Troopers revealed that as of Friday, they are still seeking the whereabouts of a former Bethel Police Officer that has been charged with Attempted Sexual Assault and Official Misconduct, and are asking the public with possible knowledge of his whereabouts to contact them at the Bethel Trooper Post.

It was on September 12th, at 12:56 pm, that troopers were notified that “an on-duty Bethel Police Officer had attempted to sexually assault an individual in the early morning hours of 9-12-15.”

Troopers and the Alaska Bureau of Investigation immediately opened an investigation, and as a result charged former Bethel Police Officer, 23-year-old Aaron Fedolfi, with “one count of Attempted Sexual Assault by a Police Officer in the Third Degree and one count of Official Misconduct by the Office of Special Prosecutions,” stated the trooper dispatch.

The troopers report that “Fedolfi is accused of attempting to engage in sexual penetration with a person that was in his custody or apparent custody while on duty as a Bethel Police officer.”
