Alaska State Troopers from the Rural Unit in Fairbanks responded to the scene in the village of Circle after receiving a report of a domestic assault that occurred there on Thursday.
By the time troopers got to the community, the suspect in the assault had fled.
The victim in the Domestic assault was flown to Fairbanks for treatment for her injuries as well as for her own safety.
On Sunday Troopers from the Rural Unit flew back to the community. Upon their arrival in Circle, they arrested 37-year-old Circle resident Lee Crow. Crow was transported to the Fairbanks Correctional Center where he was remanded on charges of Assault II and IV.
While at FCC, Crow was also served two warrants for two unrelated assaults.
