On Saturday Alaska State Troopers responded to Pilot Station to investigate multiple burglaries.

Troopers investigated three burglaries in the community.
Burglaries occurred at a local gas station, where a door was damaged as the perpetrators gained entrance to the business. During the burglary, the surveillance cameras were damaged and an axe was stolen. There are no reports of other missing items.
In a second burglary in the community of less than 600, troopers investigated the burglary of a local business where they determined that $100 was stolen. In that burglary, the doors to the business were damaged when the burglars gain entrance.
The third break-in occurred at the local bingo hall. There the doors were also damaged as well as several surveillance cameras. There are no further details of that burglary.
The Alaska State trooper investigation into the rash of burglaries there are continuing.
