A burglary was reported at Wasilla's Alaska Fast Cash Pawn Shop on Fattic Drive on Saturday morning and troopers responded at 9:16 am to conduct their investigation.
The trooper investigation determined that the burglary, in which several firearms and other valuable items were stolen took place at approximately 3 am. The burglar broke into the building via a side door to gain access to the business.
On Saturday, a tip came into the troopers identifying a possible suspect in the burglary.
On Sunday, troopers contacted 21-year-old Wasilla resident Todd Demoski. After contacting Demoski, troopers determined that he was responsible for the break-in. Several firearms, deemed to be stolen from the pawn shop were recovered from the residence.
Demoski was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded with his bail set at $2,500 and a Court Approved Third Party Custodian.
