Fairbanks Troopers and Police are looking for a Sexual Assault suspect in the area after an attack that took place off of Loftus Road in Fairbanks on Monday morning.

According to the trooper dispatch, a woman heard a pesrson calling for help from the woods on Monday morning and went into the woods to investigate.

When she went into the woods she was atacked by an unknown assailant. The woman was able to break free and called for help.

Troopers arrived and using a tracking canine, searched the area, but were able to locate the suspect.

Authorities describe the man as being white and in his 20s. He was wearing dark jeans and a dark sweatshirt. The man had short hair and was of average hweight and build with a scar over his eye.
