A response to a suspicious vehicle in the Knackstedt Street area in Soldotna by AST netted two on weapons and drug charges late Friday night, troopers reported on Sunday.
When troopers arrived at the scene at 11:29 pm on Friday night, they made contact four occupants in a gray 1999 Chevy Blazer. Two of the occupants, identified as 21-year-old Anthony Little and 36-year-old Caroline Mollet, were arrested on multiple counts.
Little was arrested on charges of Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances II, III, and IV, and Misconduct Involving Weapons II and V after it was found that he was in possession of 3.91 grams of Methamphetamine and had a concealed handgun in his possession.
As the investigation at the scene continued, AST would find that Mollet was in possession of “a number of pills ranging from a Schedule IIIA to Schedule IVA controlled substances,” troopers say. They would also find that she was in possession of a Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun. She was charged with Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances III and IV as well as Misconduct Involving Weapons II.
Both were transported to Kenai where they were remanded to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
