A report was made to the Dillingham-based Alaska State Troopers on Monday morning at approximately 8 am reporting a break-in at the Togiak School.
The Dillingham Village Public Safety Officer responded to the break-in and found that unknown individuals broke into the school by breaking a window and gaining access to the area near the back gym enterance.

Once the unidentified individuals broke into the school, they did damage to several offices and desks in the facility. The intruders also found and stole the school’s cashbox that contained $250.
Damage to the school and the equipment was estimated at approximately $5,000.
The Dillingham State Troopers are requesting that anyone with information about this incident to contact them at their office there.
The investigation into this break-in is continueing.
