A Wasilla couple was arrested on drug charges after a search warrant was served on their residence in Wasilla on Saturday by Palmer-based Patrol Troopers and SDEU-Mat-Su. A third suspect was arrested in the driveway of the home.
The Statewide Drug Enforcement Unit and troopers would discover heroin and methamphetamines packaged for sale, digital scales, baggies and common distribution materials when they carried out their search.
As a result, both Steven and Tina Humphry were arrested and charged with MICS II and III the trooper dispatch revealed.
While they carried out the search of the residence, they also encountered another individual, Nicole Cizek, in the driveway. When contacted, Cizek also had heroin, two digital scales, and other distribution items in her possession.
All three suspects were transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer, where they were remanded. During remand, Cizek was found to have additional heroin, as wel. as methamphetamine in her possession. She was subsequently charged with MICS II, III, IV, and Promoting Contraband I. Her bail was set at $10,000 cash/corporate. Steven Humphrey’s bail was set to the same amount. Tina Humphrey’s bail was set at $5,000. All three are also required to have a Court Approved Third Party Custodian.
Troopers did not reveal the amounts of drugs seized.
