After her arrest on charges of Assault, Willow woman 27-year-old Lizette Gomez-Montalvo did not go quietly to jail on Wednesday.
Troopers responded to a report of a disturbance on Long Lake Road at 10:53 am on Wednesday and their investigation determined that Gomez had assaulted a fmily member there. Gomez was subsequently arrested and charged with Assault IV.
Troopers attempted to transport Gomez to the May-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer, but en route , Gomez urinated in the patrol vehicle according to troopers. She would also attempt to kick out the windows of the vehicle.
Troopers pulled the vehicle to attempt to settle Gomez down and end her disorderly behavior. But, Gomez continued to try to kick out the windows. As a result the officer pepper-sprayed their suspect with OC spray.
Troopers discontinued Gomez’s transport and a judicial services van was called in to finish transporting her to jail
As a result of her behavior after her arrest, Gomez was additionally charged with Criminal Mischief V, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest.
Once at Mat-Su Pretrial, Gomez was held without bail pending arraignment.
