On Sunday evening, at 6:37 pm, troopers attempted to pull over a vehicle on a moving violation on Miller Road in Nikiski. But, the vehicle failed to yield to the officers and sped off from the troopers.

Troopers lost contact with the eluding driver until they were waved down by witnesses. The witnesses gave the troopers directions to the residence where the driver and the vehicle fled to.

Armed with that information, troopers located the vehicle at the residence and contacted the driver, who troopers identified as 20-year-old Gray Grady.

After contacting Grady, he was placed under arrest and transported to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility where he was remanded on charges of Failing to Stop at the Direction of a Police Officer.

His bail was set at $500.
