A caller phoned in a burglary to the Alaska State Troopers just shortly after noon on Wednesday to report the theft of approximately $50,000 worth of items from their home in Wasilla.
According to the trooper dispatch, troopers received a call at 12:33 pm on Wednesday from a Wasilla resident reporting that their home had been burglarized and a safe with personal documents and a large amount of cash had been removed from the residence. The caller also reported that over 30 firearms had also been taken from the home.
The caller estimated the value of the items taken at about $50,000.
