The incident occurred at a residence in the 8900 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
Lee was charged with one count of Sexual Assault I and two counts of Sexual Assault II. Each of the charges are felonies that can be punishable by 99 years in prison each.
Assistant District Attorney Amy Williams said in court during the bail portion of the hearing, that Lee had been grooming the victim, saying, “The indication was that he was attracted to her, engaging her in casual touching, attempting to reach the point at which he ultimately assaulted her, which happened just this week.” Continuing, she said, “Given that, the state is extremely concerned about Mr. Lee having contact with the victim, the victim’s security, and the community, if he were to be released.”
Lee’s bail was set at $100,000 cash performance bond and he is to have no contact with the alleged victim or the witness.
