Troopers Arrest Two for September and October Chickaloon Burglaries

Alaska State Troopers reported on Wednesday, that they had made two arrests after investigating two burglaries at a residence off of N. Aaron Court in Chickaloon that occurred on September 30 and October 23.

The trooper investigation alleged that the two suspects stole over $10,000 in household items, Honda motorcycle, as well as a dozen firearms.

During their investigation, Alaska State Troopers identified two suspects, 26-year-old Corey R Garrison, and 26-year-old Anchorage resident Michael A. Pastana Jr.

On Wednesday, Alaska State Troopers with the Criminal Suppression Unit facilitated the arrest of Pastana at a residence on Arlon Street in Anchorage, as well as the arrest of Garrison in Chickaloon.

Both suspects were charged with Burglary I x2, and 13 counts of Theft II, and one count of Vehicle Theft I. Additionally, Pastana was charged with Misconduct Involving Weapons III for being a felon in possession of a concealable firearm.

Both men were transported to the Mat Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer, where they were remanded into custody. Garrison’s bail was set at $2500 plus Court Approved Third-Party Custodian. Pastana’s bail was set at $5000 and a Court-Approved Third-Party Custodian.
