As of Monday, September 28th, Alaska State Troopers continue to look for a Wasilla man who was last heard from at 3 pm on August 4th.

On August 12th, troopers received a call reporting that 46-year-old Daniel Buckwalter of Wasilla was missing and hadn’t been seen or heard from since eight days earlier.

Buckwalter’s vehicle was found in the Meadow Lakes area on August 12th. The Alaska Bureau of Investigation now believes that his disappearance took place “under suspicious circumstances,” troopers say.

Troopers are asking anyone who has knowledge of this incident to please contact them at 745-2131 to provide information regarding Buckwalter.  To report an anonymous tip, contact crime stoppers at 745-3333.
