A 58-year-old Anchorage woman is listed as missing after her husband discovered her vehicle at the Beluga Point Lookout near Girdwood.

Martha Levensaler was reported as a missing person at 3:58 pm on Tuesday after missing work and an appointment. Her husband also reported that she had not reponded to any of his messages. The husband told troopers that she was despondent.

Helo-3 was dispatched and did a search of the Beluga Point area as well the Turnagains arm area from mile 105 to113.

As of Wednesday morning, there have been no signs of what may have happened to her.
