The Anchorage woman reported missing by her husband on Tuesday was found dead along Turnagain Arm at 10 am on Wednesday.
Martha Levensaler, age 58 was found on the rocks near the water’s edge by Alaska State Troopers after receiving a tip from the Alaska Railroad. Details on how she died were not released.

Levensaler’s husband reported her missing after locating her vehicle at the Beluga Point Pullout on Tuesday afternoon. According to the trooper dispatch, the husband became “concerned about her when she would not respond to messages, she missed an appointment and did not check in with work.”
Helo-3 responded to the area and searched from mile 105 to 113 and reported no results. Levensaler’s remains were found at mile 108. Her body was turned over to the State Medical Examiner’s office for autopsy.
Next of kin has been notified.
