APD Detectives Investigate Early Morning Eureka Street Shooting

Multiple calls went in to the APD dispatch at just after midnight reporting a woman suffering from critical injuries and unconscious in the street on the 3400-block of Eureka Street.

When authorities arrived at the residential area, they found the victim bleeding profusely from an upper body gunshot wound. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

An investigation was opened and several persons were interviewed while the street was closed from 34th to 34th. 

APD would find that the victim had been shot in an apartment adjacent to where she lay and had come out after the shooting incident only to collapse on the street.

No arrests have been made as yet.
