Indian Canoe on Paddle/Journey to Quinault Overturns North of Port Townsend, All Aboard Rescued

A Native-American canoe that was part of the paddle/journey to Quinault, Washington overturned approximately five miles north of Port Townsend on Monday tossing nine people into the water.

At least five hundred prisoners made good their escape from the notorious Abu Ghraib prison during an attack by suicide bombers and militant-driven car bombs late on Sunday night during a coordinated attack at that prison and the Taji Prison 12 miles distant.

Subcommittee Holds Hearing to allow Road Corridors for Bokan Mountain/Niblack Mines

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Friday the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Public Lands held a legislative hearing on H.R. 587, the Niblack and Bokan Mountain Mining Area Roads Authorization Act, introduced earlier this year by Alaskan Congressman Don Young.
