Put on your flapper feathers and fedoras, and prepare to party like a Gatsby. From 7 p.m. to midnight Friday, Oct. 19 at the Anchorage Museum, you can step back in time to the Roaring ‘20s and the glamorous world of “The Great Gatsby,” “The Artist” and “Boardwalk Empire.”

At the Bootlegger’s Ball dust off your Charleston for the dance floor, nosh on ritzy eats, get a flapper hairdo and strike a pose in the retro photo booth. Vie for best-dressed in the costume contest and order a post-Prohibition sidecar at one of three bars.

Every swell guy and doll in the city will be there, so don’t be a flat tire: Buy tickets today. Tickets are $60. Prices include one drink ticket. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $100 and include parking in the museum’s heated underground garage, two drink tickets and access to a VIP lounge. This event is ages 21 and older only; ID required.
