Motorist Discovers Body of Motorcycle Victim on Alaska Highway

On Sunday at approximately 4:41 pm, a motorist at mile 1362.5 of the Alaska Highway reported to troopers that he had come upon the body of a deceased woman and a motorcycle on the side of the highway.

At 5:22 pm on Tuesday, Alaska State Troopers responded to a death investigation scene near a residence in the Skyline neighborhood of Soldotna.

Remains Found Near Lakeshore Loop Believed to be Man Missing Since October

Alaska State Troopers have tentatively identified the remains found near Lakeshore Loop in Palmer on Friday to those of a Anchorage man missing since October 5th of last year.

Tanana City Manager and Tanana City Expediter Charged with Wire Fraud and Theft of Federal Property

It was announced by U.S. Attorney Karen Loeffler of the Justice Department today that two Fairbanks residents were charged with nine counts of wire fraud and three counts of theft from a local government receiving federal funds.
