Alaska State Troopers have tentatively identified the remains found near Lakeshore Loop in Palmer on Friday to those of a Anchorage man missing since October 5th of last year.

Tanana City Manager and Tanana City Expediter Charged with Wire Fraud and Theft of Federal Property

It was announced by U.S. Attorney Karen Loeffler of the Justice Department today that two Fairbanks residents were charged with nine counts of wire fraud and three counts of theft from a local government receiving federal funds.

Camp LeJeune Marine Travels 1,500 Miles to Eden, Texas and Carries Out Shooting Spree

Police say they have no clue as yet why the Camp LeJeune marine, 23-year-old Lance Corporal Esteban J. Smith traveled 1,500 miles to Eden, Texas, or if that was in fact his final destination, to carry out mass shootings. But, the killings started out with his wife according to reports.

Flood Waters Continue in Galena

The ice jam at Bishop's Rock 25 miles downstream from the community continues to hold back waters on the Yukon River and is keeping the flood levels high in Galena.
