An arrest warrant was issued and served on 24-year-old  Anchorage Correctional Center inmate Brian Wilson at 2:17 pm Friday for Assault I. The warrant was the result of an investigation into an altercation that took place there in April of this year.

It was April 14th, that the Alaska Bureau of Investigation received a report of an assault at Anchorage Correctional-West at 4:24 pm.

The investigation after responding to the facility revealed that Wilson had assaulted another inmate at the facility causing serious injuries to the man. That inmate was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the assault.

The warrant today was a result of that investigation.

Wilson’s bail for the assault was set at $5,000 and a court approved third party custodian. He was currently doing time for Theft.
