Kodiak Woman Rams Metal Workshop after Disturbance Call

Alaska State Troopers based in Kodiak report that during the early morning hours of Tuesday, they received a report of a disturbance on Selief Lane  in Kodiak.

When they responded to the disturbance call at 3:59 am on Tuesday, troopers report that the person involved in the disturbance had already fled the scene on foot. Their investigation at the residence would reveal that 21-year-old Trinity Olsen-Benton had showed up there causing a disturbance.

Troopers would attempt to locate Olsen-Benton subsequent to receiving statements, but as they searched for her, she would show back up at the residence. This time, Olsen-Benton drove back to the residence in a 2002 Isuzu SUV which she would use to ram into a metal workshop on the premises causing approximately $1,000 worth of damage. As a result of ramming the vehicle into the building, it got lodged and she could not extricate it. So, Olsen-Benton once again fled the scene on foot.

Troopers would later locate Olsen-Benton and place her under arrest on the charge of Criminal Mischief III.

Olsen-Benton was transported to the Kodiak Jail where she was remanded to await arraignment.
