Mat-Su Search and Rescue have initiated a ground search for a missing woman from the Miller’s Reach area of Houston today following a missing persons report called in to troopers on Wednesday.
The caller reported that 56-year-old Diana Pittser had not been seen since 8 pm on Tuesday after “Pittser left her house on foot to walk to a nearby river,” the trooper dispatch revealed today. It was reported that Pittser had left with little but a flashlight when she set out on her walk.
Friends and family searched the area for Pittser after she failed to return home, they were met with no success. MAT SAR is currently conducting a search of the area.
Pittser, who is 5’9″ and weighs approximately 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, is reported to have been wearing gray sweats, and a tan and white sweater.
