NEW HAMPSHIRE-With the first-in-the-nation primary just six weeks away, Presidential candidate Mitt Romney has garnered another key endorsement from the state of New Hampshire. Last night, the Senate President of that state came out with an endorsement. State Senate President Peter Bragdon said in his endorsement, Romney is "the right leader at the right time." Bragdon is the ninth of 19 Republican state senators to come out for Romney. He said to NBC News, "He is head and shoulders above the rest of the Republican field and clearly the strongest candidate to take on President Obama in 2012."

Romney has also secured the endorsements of two of the three Delegates from that state, Senator Kelly Ayotte and Representative Charlie Bass. New Hampshire Governor John Sununu and former Senator Judd Gregg also stand behind Romney.

While the endorsements of the state’s leaders are coveted, it does not by any means mean victory to the the one with the most endorsements. Romney had a significant number of endorsements under his belt from New Hampshire, but would ultimately lose the state to McCain in the last presidential election cycle.
