During the course of their investigation, Troopers obtained permission from Kokrine to search his baggage.
The search of Kokrine’s luggage turned up approximately 12 ounces of marijuana and 400 “dime-sized” baggies, a size commonly used to distribute drugs.
Troopers estimate the Western Alaska street value of the drugs seized at approximately $16,700.
Kokrine was arrested and transported to the Anchorage jail where his bail was set at $5,000 cash only.
He was charged with two counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV.
