Palmer Man Arrested After Two Assaults on Two Girlfriends in Two Weeks

Alaska State Troopers report via trooper dispatch that an 18-year-old Palmer man was arrested without incident after an assault was reported at five minutes after midnight this morning.

Troopers responded to a residence in the Palmer area and conducted an investigation into a DV Assault after the fact on Tuesday, and found that 18-year-old Salvador Gallo of Palmer had caused minor injury to his girlfriend and also caused approximately $300 worth of damage to her property. It was also reported that he made repeated death threats to another person at the residence “with the intent to place them in fear of him,” troopers say.

This is the second such incident by Gallo troopers report. It was on December 21st of 2014 that Gallo also assaulted a different previous girlfriend, causing her injury in the Palmer area.

The trooper investigation would also find that Gallo is on probation for Attempted Robbery I. The conditions of his probation state that he not commit any additional crimes.

Gallo was arrested and transported to the Mat–Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded without bail pending arraignment.
