A call went in to Alaska State Troopers reporting a suspicious vehicle near Quiet Circle in Wasilla early Friday morning at 3:14 am. The call would net troopers six arrests.
When troopers arrived on the scene they immediately observed the vehicle in a parking lot and contacted the driver, who was identified as 30-year-old Marjorie Labriola of Wasilla, a passenger in the vehicle was also identified as 23-year-old Wasilla resident Joseph Henson.
The trooper investigation at the scene would find that Labriola was in possession of multiple controlled substances and it was found that she had intent to distribute. She was arrested on charges of MICS III, MICS IV x3 and MICS V.
The passenger, Henson was also found to be in possession of controlled substances with the intent to distribute as well as a concealed weapon and he was subsequently charged with MICS III, MICS IV x2, Misconduct Involving a Weapon II, and MIW V
As troopers continued their investigation, they would find that 39-year-old Anchorage resident Christopher Harris was in a residence nearby, Harris was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for his arrest for Attempted Vehicle Theft and Felony DUI.
Troopers attempted to contact Harris at the residence but 24-year-old Rachel Tyree and 25-year-old Cyndee Weeg, both of Wasilla, hindered the troopers and attempted to conceal Harris in the residence. But, eventually, Harris was arrested at the residence as were the two females that attempted to conceal him. Tyree and Weeg were charged with Hindering Prosecution.
While in the residence, troopers would also contact 29-year-old Ryan Bentley, also of Wasilla. They found that Bentley had a warrant issued for his arrest on charges of Failure to Appear on an original charge of DUI.
All six individuals were transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer and remanded there.
The occupants of the suspicious vehicle, Labriola and Henson, had their bails set at $5,000. Harris’s bail was set at $10,000. The two women that attempted to conceal Harris had their bails set at $1,500, as was Ryan’s.
