It was at 9:47 pm on Tuesday night that Alaska State Troopers received a call from a man identified as 31-year-old Matthew Mooter of Seward. Mooter had called troopers and expressed his concern of “the driving exhibited by the mother of his child.”

Troopers contacted the woman, after talking with her and furthering their investigation, the woman told troopers that Mooter had “put a  large dent in her car door causing damage.” Troopers proceeded to interview both parties about the incident. 

As a result of the further interviews, troopers placed Mooter under arrest for Criminal Mischief IV. Mooter was transported to Seward where he was remanded to the Seward Jail.
