Alaska State Troopers rounded up four individuals in Soldotna on warrants and drug charges after receiving a tip that a person with active warrants were at an address in that community on the Fourth of July, the trooper dispatch reported on Tuesday.
Troopers responded to a Vonda Street address at 9:50 am on Monday after receiving a CrimeStoppers tip. After responding and conducting an investigation, troopers found that the person that was the focus of the tip, was not at the residence. But, during the course of their investigation, they found that two of the people there, 32-year-old Heidi Porter, and 48-year-old Michael Lacy, had active warrants for their arrest. Porter was wanted on a $2,500 warrant for probation violation, and Lacy was wanted on a warrant for failure to serve five days for DWLR.
During the investigation, troopers would also contact two people passed out in a vehicle. Troopers identified the two individuals as 38-year-old Byron Gordon and 25-year-old Tami Hangstefer, both of Soldotna. troopers report that “Both were under the influence and in possession of heroin and other controlled substances.”
It was also found that Gordon had an arrest warrant for charges of Vehicle Theft I and Theft. Gordon was charged with Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV and the active warrant, while Hangstefer was charged with two counts of the same charge.
All four were transported to Kenai where they all were remanded to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
