Alaska State Troopers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol-South-Central received multiple REDDI reports on a silver Nissan truck between mile 48 and mile 12 on the Seward Highway on Wednesday evening.
When troopers responded to the calls at about 7 pm, they located the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop.
Initially, the troopers failed to stop the vehicle that continued to evade them and in the process forced several vehicles off the road in his attempt o get away.

Eventually, the vehicle stalled, but the driver refused to exit the vehicle. Troopers were finally able to extract the driver through the drivers window.
The troopers investigation showed that the driver was 34-year-old Glenn M. Octuck of Kotzebue.
Further investigation found that Octuck had been driving under the influence of Amphetamines,Methamphetamines, and marijuana.
Octuck was also in possession of crystal methamphetamines at the time of his arrest.
Octuck was charged with Felony Eluding, MICS IV, DUI, Reckless Driving, and Reckless Endangerment.
He was transported and remanded to the Seward Jail on no bail.
