Alaska State Troopers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol pulled over a Ford Windstar on the Parks Highway near Lucas Road after observing it traveling erratically at a high rate of speed with equipment violations on Saturday morning.
It was 5:39 am when troopers observed the Windstar speeding down the Parks Highway, moving in and out of its lane of travel and running on a flat tire.

Troopers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver. Their investigation found that the driver, 48-year-old Anchorage resident Violet Kruger was driving while intoxicated.
Their subsequent investigation also found that Kruger was on probation for a prior felony conviction and was not to be consuming alcohol.
Kruger was transported and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer for Driving Under the Influence and Probation Violation.
Kruger was held on $2,500 and a Third Party for the DUI charges, but is being held on the probation violation pending arraignment.
