Suspects Firing from Two Vehicles Injures Victim in Living Room

Two parties firing from two vehicles on Monday resulted in one injury Anchorage police report.

At 3:54 pm on Monday afternoon, calls began to go into the Anchorage Police Department reporting shot-fired,

Police responded to the 700-block of East 11th after receeiving the calls and opened an investigation into the incident. The preliminary investigation revealed that “occupants of two moving vehicles were firing shots at one another,” and that a stray bullet penetrated a nearby residence and struck a female victim as she  was sitting in her living room with other family members. She was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound of unspecified seriousness.
