According to Alaska State Troopers, the Lakeview Terrace trailer park was the scene of a woman's rampage after she wreaked havoc on a boyfriend's property after her boyfriend refused to go out on Saturday night.
29-year-old Fairbanks resident Lori Ann Erwin broke out over a dozen windows and destroyed various items in the trailer on Saturday night after her boyfriend took off out of the trailer. They had gotten into an arguement over going out for the night, she wanted to go out and he wanted to stay in for the night.
After tearing apart the interior of the trailer, Erwin moved her frustrations outside, where she continued to destroy her boyfriend’s belongings. Armed with multiple knives, Erwin slashed the tires of three of her boyfriend’s vehicles, a 1990 Jeep and a 1973 Ford Mustang received tire damage, and a 2011 Chevy Silverado had its tires slashed and knife carvings on the hood. The discarded knives, some broken, were found around the vehicles by troopers.
Troopers also reported that another vehicle was damaged as well. That vehicle did not belong to the boyfriend.
Troopers arrested the 29-year-old woman on charges of Criminal Mischief III, and transported her to the Fairbanks Jail where she was remanded and her bail set at $5,000.
Erwin was arraigned on Sunday and appointed an attorney. Her next court date is Friday when she appears for a bail hearing in Fairbanks court.
