During the early morning hours of January 2nd, Alaska State Troopers responded to a call reporting a home invasion in progress.
When troopers arrived at the residence off of South Serrano Drive at 2:15 am,. they found two suspects at the scene, and were informed that a third suspect had fled the scene before troopers gained access to the residence.
The homeowners, who were at the residence when the invasion took place, told troopers that although they were afraid, the invaders did not manage to steal anything. The three men did however cause approximately $600 worth of damage at the residence.
Trooopers arrested 35-year-old Wasilla resident Shivonne Gouldman and 23-year-old Jay Burgess, also of Wasilla, at the scene.
With the assistance of Wasilla Police K-9 “Marshal,” troopers would locate the third suspect, 21-year-old Vincent Ryall of Big Lake a short distance away from the residence. When captured, Ryall had a Schedule IIA substance in his possession.
The three burglars were transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer and remanded there. All three were charged with Burglary I, Criminal Mischief III, and two counts of Assault IV. Ryall had an additional charge of MICS IV leveled against him.
Gouldman’s bail was set at $35,000, while Ryall and Burgess had their bail set at $25,000. In addition to bail, each must also have a Court Approved Third Party Custodian before being released on bail.
