Troopers Arrest Wasilla Man on DUI-Failure to Serve Warrant and DUI

ASTpatch_New copy copyAlaska State Trooper reported on Sunday, that on Saturday afternoon, they went to a residence on Peninsula Drive in Wasilla to arrest a subject on an arrest warrant for failing to serve time for DUI, and subsequently arrested the subject for DUI.

Troopers traveled to the Peninsula Drive residence, and contacted 60-year-old Dale Weeg at 4:45 pm on Saturday, to serve a warrant for failure to serve 3 days for a DUI conviction. 

But, troopers would find that Weeg had just driven up to the residence five minutes before their arrival. They also found that he was under the influence of alcohol and had driven with his license revoked.

Troopers arrested Weeg on the arrest warrant, and also for DUI and Driving While License Revoked. He was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, where he was reamanded, and his bail set at $2,500.
