Following a burglary at the Hatcher Pass Polaris in Willow over the weekend, the Alaska State Troopers are seeking information from the public regarding the incident, the trooper dispatch reported on Monday afternoon.

Troopers responded to Hatcher Pass Polaris in Willow at 7:30 am on Monday after a passerby saw a large hole cut in the business’s storage yard fence and called in the suspicious occurrence.

Troopers arrived at the location and their subsequent investigation found that someone had cut their way into the storage yard sometime after 6 pm on Saturday and 7:30 am on Monday. The thieves stole an un-assembled orange and black 2016 Polaris Razor Turbo from the establishment valued at $24,999. The investigation would also find that two other machines were vandalized as well. Damage to those vehicles was estimated at approximately $1,000. An unknown amount of merchandise was also taken from a storage trailer in the yard.

Troopers are asking that anyone with information regarding this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.
